Initial Consultation

When you arrive for your initial consultation, we will walk you through a tour of our office and explain how our approach is unique. We listen to your health concerns and talk through your goals. This consultation includes an exam with our nurse practitioner, a chiropractic adjustment, and X-rays (if needed).

Follow-Up Visit

On your second appointment we discuss your results from your initial consultation and review your x-rays (if taken). We will explain our recommendations for treatment, as well as details like billing and frequency of your visits, and collaborate with you to create your unique care plan.

Your Care Plan

Once your care plan is created, you’ll settle into your visit routine. This routine will vary depending on the service (chiropractic, red light, IV therapy, etc). We’ll be monitoring your progress and having regular conversations with you to ensure you stay on track to meet your health goals.

What does the first appointment as a new patient look like?

When you arrive for your first appointment as a new patient you’ll meet with Heather, our Nurse Practitioner, for an exam and an overview of your medical history. Next we will take a full set of x-rays (if needed), and you’ll meet with our chiropractor, Dr. Herman, to go over your x-rays and recieve a chiropractic adjustment. A typical first appointment is 45-60 minutes long.

Can I go back and forth between both your locations?

This is a tricky one! Our Easley office offers many services that our Powdersville office does not currently offer, so all Powdersville-based clients are welcome (and encouraged!) to come to the Easley location for any of those services. For chiropractic care, however, we prefer that you choose one location. Consistency allows the chiropractor at that office to better serve you, and it keeps billing from being confused.

What insurance do you accept?

We accept most types of insurance - Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare, Aetna, United Healthcare, etc. To make sure we accept your insurance and that you have coverage for the services you’re recieving at our office, call our office and ask for our Insurance Coordinator, Lillian, so she can review your coverage!

Payment Options

  • INSURANCE

    All insurance plans are accepted at our chiropractic office, however, we cannot guarantee we are in-network for your insurance plan. We accept auto accident and personal injury cases that have resulted in back pain, neck pain, headaches, or other related pain conditions. Because there are so many insurance plans with different chiropractic coverage, please call us to find out if your plan covers care in our office. Before you start a chiropractic care plan, our staff will verify your benefits, and the coverage/charges will be reviewed at your initial visit.

  • NO INSURANCE

    Our goal at Easley Health & Spine is to allow everyone to experience the benefits of chiropractic and holistic care. For patients who have little or no insurance coverage, there are still ways for you to receive the pain relief and chiropractic care that you need, and we will work with you to arrange a flexible payment program that fits your budget. Many patients choose to pay directly for their visits, especially as they discover that chiropractic care is actually extremely cost-effective and affordable, as chiropractic care is often cheaper and more effective than alternative pain treatments such as pain medications or invasive surgery.

    Our focus is to actively help you and your family take responsibility for your total health, wellness, and disease management. Our team will assist and guide you as you take the time to care for some of the most important people in your world: you and your family. In an effort to make living the wellness lifestyle as easy and affordable as possible, we can create a customized family plan that is specific to you and your family.
